Thanks for the info. I have toyed with getting a mid tele mirror for shots similar to the ones you posted. I have been eyeing the gi-normous Rubinar 300mm f/4.5, but those run 3-5x what would be remotely reasonable for such a specialized lens.

Tonight’s starry sky above cliffs at Zion NP. Single exposure. Glow on the cliffs is from town of Springdale right next to Park boundary. The 35GM wide open at f/1.4 performed amazingly well.
