It's fun to lead with crops from these kinds of images (Thypoch 50/1.4).
Where from? The Kunzum La, a fearsome pass in Spiti that is being homogenised (somewhat). The driver saw driving the older sections of the pass as an occupational rite of passage.
What of? the highest peaks peering over the valley are 5500m and 5800m, and they are around 2500 metres distant from the camera. The crops are their glacier fall-offs from the snow lake.
