Good to see the CV 21/1.8 Ultron works with the A7s. I was really up in the air about getting that or the Samyang 14/2.8 for astrophotography.
that lens camera combination really does work very well
I actually have both of the lens about which you are speaking and I do believe that the voigtlander is superior. Of course, it ought to be for almost 3 times the price.
also, and I know you are very aware of this, there is a huge difference between a 14 mm and a 21 mm focal length.
Only you will know which is the right one for your astrophotography
I look forward to seeing the results of your efforts
thank you

The 14/2.8 allowed me to fit another lens into my budget with the A7s. I'll have the 14/2.8 for ultra-wide landscapes and astro, while the 35 and 55 FE will be my prime general purpose (still looking for a 55 FE).
I might rent a 21/1.8 sometime to see how I like it.
I just got the A7s a few days ago and spent the day today setting it up. So different coming from a D700.
So, I don't know what's up with Chrome but these are super washed-out for me. I thought it was Flickr at first but when I save the JPG then open it locally it looks like it should - the orange leaves are really intense. But, in the browser, pretty blah. YMMV.
Fantastic images on this page! Too many to list...everyone has great shots...Love it!!
Just returned from a small vacation. Here are a bunch taken this last week! Various lenses...
