So this is Yamadera temple in Yamagata, Japan. There are a number of temples perch at the mountain and you will see it as you hike up. The view at the very top was just amazing. This was during the summer month, I'm sure during fall / spring it will be even better! So enjoy!
I'm a little dyslexic and initially read this as "Pirates Keep Out" for some reason. I'm not a pirate, so I figured it's cool if I venture onward. Saw quite a few "Lots for sale" signs today advertising vacant land and would laugh to myself and say internally "Lots of what?" DSC02286.jpg by A.Laskan, on Flickr
I barely use the other lenses I brought, the Contax N 24-85 is so versitale and it does deliver the goods. It is a bit big or more so it is fat. It ain't that long actually.
I use my batterygrip as well for balnce and I never run out of juice during the entire day.
I have the A6000 also. The A7 and Zeiss 55 are a great combination and I haven't had too many missed shots because of autofocus issues. What I have had are some 'stunners'! Really enjoy working with it.

How does the A7 work out for you for the kids? I have a A6000 with good glass, but thinking about getting the same A7+55 combo just for the kids/portraits.

Quiet a rare lens! How do you like it?
I know, it took a while to find! It is really good, with good sharpness and small size, but it suffers from the usual sickness of the A7, quite a bit of field curvature. It's also prone to chromatic aberration. Just yesterday I got a sunshade for it and it does improve the contrast quite a bit. All in all, I'm happy with it.
