Not the greatest "image" in the world, but evidently one of the greatest cars! I am posting here, since I am not a car guy, and I know some of you are! Evidently this is REALLY expensive! Was parked while I was completing a couple of High School senior sessions. A7 with 55 1.8.
Wow! a 918. There aren't very many of them in the US at all. And yes - it'll run you around $850k.
Nice one Phillip, thanks for sharing on the road :-). And Sculptormatic, that Contax-N lens looks impressive in NY - the zoom range is super-handy. Is it as good as it looks in far corners?

Inspired by Werners last shot I just developed this one from Italy, 40 km northeast of Rome. The Tiber floats here down in the valleys. FE55.

Very nice Michiel! I am curious. How many lenses did you bring with you?
Till the last moment i changed the lenses I brought. I am not really traveling light but not a backpacker either.
Tonight I will receive the Rokinon 14mm, VC 21/1.8, Canon FD 24/2, C/Y28/2.8, Sony ZE 35/2.8 ZA, C/Y Distagon Zeiss 35/1.4, Leica M Summicron 50/2, Canon FD 100/2, Contax N 24-84/3.5-4.5 and at the last moment I trew the C/Y Zeiss Vario-Sonnar in my suitcase.
All the rest fits in a Lowepro Slingbag. I also brought a small shoulder bag for walking the streets.
Days of 35mm!
Everywhere you look now, great 35mm lenses are popping up. Good for us!
Here is a sample from kinda infamous Biogon 2/35 that shines stopped down, hand held, on sunny days...
Till today I had my pre-order web page open for ZM 1.4/35, but the CV 35/1.7 forces me to do more reading. Not sure if they're both in the same league (not many, if any, CV lenses are infinity stunners, but I hope someone will prove me wrong, counting Cosina)
Here are some images taken last evening just before and in Magic Hour along Carpet Road, New Tripoli, PA. All images taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo Telyt lens and my A7r and processed in LR5.6
Revisited the decaying pier a lovely evening a couple of days ago. Some thick fog had rolled in from the fjord, but unfortunately it dissolved just when we arrived. This summer has been unusually warm and sunny, but now fall is about to arrive with cooler weather and rain. I'm actually looking forward to it, and winter too.
A7 and C/Y 28mm/2.8:
Thank you both!
Btw. it was the first time I tried long exposures with A7. I quickly found out that it's better to turn off long exposure noise reduction... Also, I have discovered that using the "Camera Neutral" profile in Lightroom saves me lots of post processing work. Often (but not always) a much easier starting point (for my liking).
