Some recents from this winter/spring (winter has been mellow, 3-4 weeks of snow and ice in total, like every other year that I've spent here (since 2013) except the winter before (2023-2024).
I like it very much thus far, it balances rather well on the A7Cii, it can do landscape and bokeh type shots. Yes it zooms in the wrong direction but as far as annoyances go that's a minor one. I haven't experienced any af issues with it.

It has more quality-feeling aperture clicks than the 21/3,5 (they sound more solid and consistent than on that lens). Kind of slippery getting on and off the camera, more so than my Loxia.

Playing around in the desert on spring break. The little black flecks are bats. A7rV did pretty well locking on, but I got to imagine they're some of the hardest to lock on and track. Some cross posted from the wildlife thread.
I have always been fascinated by plastinates of human bodies. Recently, Body Worlds: Vital returned to east coast of US and is on display in Franklin Institute in Philly until Sept. I went there on the first few weeks of the exhibit and was delighted to learn photography is allowed. The following are a few images from my trip shot on EF 50mm 1.2 on my A7 III body.
