First photos taken with the new to me Sony G 24-50/2.8 lens, after it had been sitting on the shelf for over 3 months
The new Sony G 16-25/2.8 and Sigma 65/2 are still waiting for their turn. In addition, I just brought home the Sigma 28-105/2.8 Art lens straight from the shop. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to check what the latter is like optically.

Nice! I just flew back from Mardi Gras on Monday. All my picks were with Nikon though.
Just picked up the A7rV again and playing around. This is using the Monster adapter to autofocus the Nikon 28 1.4d lens. Pretty impressed that it can pull this off.
Finally......I finally managed to be in the right spot for a fleeting 2 seconds and managed to capture one of the resident eagles in flight. This might call for a cocktail tonight! 📸🦅🥃
....lots to learn and a long way to go....
Wasn't paying attention and must have bumped the dial and got my shutter speed up to 8000 and ISO climbed to 12800.
rV and 40 2.5 at 5.6, 1/8000, and 12,800
No look, just hoping animal focus recognizes her eye. Tried for some action but every time I threw the otter she would run to it and lay down daring me to get it. She's the rare breed of Golden Chaser, not retriever.
Oneº 15 Marina. Brooklyn Bridge Park, NY. "Vintage" A7ii with the Syoptic 50mm f/1.1 manual focus lens. I think this is my all time favorite lens, and I have owned more than a few awesome (vintage and modern) lenses in my lifetime. The Syoptic output is so organic and filmic. Could be my "desert island" lens.
