Excellent captures, Eric! I see that your wife took the first image of you that is posted in another thread but who took the last image? Was the camera on tripod?

Thanks, Joshua.
There were actually three of us on the hike this morning. Here's me with my wife and her sister. Great shot above!
We visited our son in Oregon last week and while there we spent some time waterfowl watching at Baskett Slough NWR near Salem. I enjoyed photographing the Northern pintails and Dusky Canada Geese, both of which were there in very good numbers. I traveled with only a lightweight kit, i.e., my A7CR, Tamron 20-40/2.8, and Sony 70-350/4.5-6.3 G APS-C. Here are a few of the pintail images I liked from the trip. Handheld with the Sony lens. Still in the learning curve of bird photography. It's a tad easier when they sit still. The BIF is going to take a while... We have a nesting pair at one of our local parks this year and their eaglet is in fledge mode. I can attest that the 10 fps on the A7R5 is not enough...😎
....I would also say that the 300/2.8 with the 2XTC is phenomenal. 👊🏻

Very nice composition, Jim. If 10 FPS is not enough, the used A1s can be had for a song nowadays. The blackout free EVF of the A1/A9 cameras are a revelation in shooting action stuff.
Taken from Brooklyn, NYC yesterday morning, a cloudless sunrise.
