How do you find this Viltrox 16/2.8 Ross? I've been circling it like a cat around a treat and I don't know whether to choose it.
It’s an excellent lens, shockingly good for the price. F/1.8 maximum aperture, and my copy is sharp wide open right into the corners. Solid build quality too.
#1 Kumzum La has long had a fearsome reputation. Bottom left is the present road, bottom right is the old road. It's hard to relax on these Indian passes, and problems when you meet traffic going the other way. #2 is glacial rubble at 4000m with 6000m mountains lining the valley. (FE 55/1.8)
Beautiful shots of the male goldfinch, we only get to see them in non-breeding plumage.
I looked for the comet last night with binoculars only but couldn't see it. I'm sure the camera could have found it, but the previous night's time-lapse sequence was my last intended photo session with it. Here's a parting shot from the time-lapse sequence. The Milky Way, the comet, Venus and satellites.
