I just upgraded to the A7R5. I am amazed at the insect tracking ! I was using recognition target insect, tracking expand spot.

I know I am a couple of years behind upgrading, but my goodness what I have been missing ! The AI target recognition and tracking are amazing. If I can keep the subject in the frame, it locks on and stays on. I only had a couple of shots where the focus jumped to the bright red flowers.

Another experiment, taking pictures of an airplane overhead and aligning the images in Photoshop.

Most images I took were actually in focus.
But I couldn't hold the heavy lens steadily enough.

Oh well.
