AlexLF seems to revel in his military photos, as this is not his first post. As you said, it's the matter of respect to others, that's why I compared it to typical russian tourist behavior.
The other thing is, it's difficult *not* to see these kind of photos today on the net... and I actually like to browse FM image threads and *not* see these kind of photos.

I have addressed this matter through private messaging to maintain the focus of this thread on image presentation rather than this discussion. I understand that recent images of the 'Victory Day' parade may have made some of you uncomfortable, especially given the current geopolitical climate. The images in question depict a parade from a photographer's perspective, without any overt political commentary.. However, it's important to remember that this forum is dedicated to photography, not politics. While photography can be provocative, censoring all provocative content isn't practical or desirable. It has the power to document various aspects of our world, even sensitive or controversial events. We can acknowledge that these images may evoke different reactions, but they serve as documentation of a particular moment in time.
Here are some images of another falcon species, the peregrine, although this one is a juvenile that was trying to fly. It could only hop for a few short days before it made its maiden flight...
I would remind us all that it is easy to hide members whose images or comments we find offensive. In that way they lose at least some power, as well as the possibility of receiving future likes from us.

Just got back from a little trek up to the Quinault Rainforest, checking out the VW Westfalia just back from a bit more repair/maintenance. Nice to get away to a place so close to home.
