I didn't spend that much time in Mauritius since the ship I was on was quarantined for 2 full days while waiting for the test results of the suspected cholera outbreak. Fortunately, that turned out to be a false alarm. Our stay there was cut by 2 full days because of that.
Mauritius is a charming little island in the Indian Ocean, where the extinct dodo birds once lived. This island has quite a few waterfalls and the more spectacular ones are further south and due to the shortened stay I only had time to visit some smaller ones, among others.
They fenced off this cascading waterfall for safety reasons and this is about the best I can get to it.... Oh, well.
