Not quite sure I love the edit on this one, but can't put my finger on why. But despite hours of PP, this is where I ended up. Happy with the composition at least
Buddhism survived as more than a dry academic system of philosophy because the post-Alexander Greek kings of Bactria and India introduced the first human form of the historical Buddha, raising it to an exquisite art form in the second century BC. The likely model was Demetrius I of Bactria. The statues reflect both Greek and Indian features, for example the curly hair is a Greek derivation. Most statues have blue eyes for the same reason.
On a local Ohio hike on a dreary January day and testing a new to me Sony 20m f/1.8. How is this lens so sharp wide open, edge to edge?! LR lens profile corrections turned off - vignetting at f/1.8 is not bad.
