Thank you so much! I am truly impressed with your images. The ZM 15 performs really well; I understand why you love that combo.
Thank you! That means a lot coming from you. There is a lot of beautiful, aspiring landscape pictures you have in this thread.
The ZM 15 is not a technically perfect lens on the Sony body, but somehow it felt just right in my hand and motivated me to go out and shoot; I guess that is the most important thing. I didn't get the same feel with the more technically sound Rokinon 14, probably due to a combination of weight and bulk.
Some shots with my new VNEX + Meopta Meostigmat 1.4/70(Projector lens-no iris) on my A7R.
I think it will be a great artistic lens for me, the lack of an iris does reduce it's usefulness in some conditions, a trade I'm willing to make for the character this lens can bring to the images.

This has become my favorite lens... by a large margin.
All images shot at f/2 with identical post processing; colour temperature/tint were set to common values in RAW prior conversion to B/W.
Converting colour images to B/W for comparison may be a questionable choice, however.
The conversion to B/W Ilford PAN F +50 was done with Silver Efex Pro 2 and there are slight differences in tone, mostly between Summicron-R 50 and the other two. Summilux and Nokton are close indeed.
Unfortunately this morning I forgot to take with me Nikkor 50/1.2 Ai-s, which was the whole point of 4-way shooting. Oh well, next time.
