Werner, Mike...very nice images! Werner-you're really liking that 135 ZA! It produces great images!! Must be a beast on the A7??
Josh...INCREDIBLE shots of the Nativity scene. The detail, both in the photos AND the painting itself blows me away! I remember when we were there(Italy), it was amazing to see paintings and sculptures made when there was no technology! I have some pics of the ceiling of the Duomo in Florence that have that same effect! Did yo guys make it to the Vatican??
Here are a few more Mitakon 50 .095 shots again. Sorry for so many...I'll be posting more Hawaii shots up soon, too!
Gregg
@1.4 w/CPL. Very popular local hamburger joint in Santa Cruz
This might have been stopped down a bit...don't remember
WO
WO...this lens is really good at making the background go...buh-bye!!

Gregg, thanks! We didn't go to Rome/Vatican and Florence this time around. I was there twice already. Granted, I didn't have my A7r both times back then but we didn't have that much time and had to skip both this time around. Two other highlights of the trip is Pompeii and Cinque Terre (coastal scenery at the Ligurian Sea). I am still working from both locations.
Your images using the Mitakon are awesome! I considered getting one because of your post but I simply have too many lenses already. I will have to make it do with what I have.... .
Took out my latest toy to the Frankfurt Grüngürtel (literally "green belt")...
Minolta MC W.Rokkor-HH 35 f1.8
All wide open except the flower shot which is f2.8.
No trips for me at the moment, so I'll post what I've got!
Sony A7+Contax G35
What's interesting about this one is that it was taken with the TechArt Contax G adapter v3. It managed to focus on a moving object (it wasn't light speed, but I was kinda surprised it managed to). It's not the clearest of the pictures I took, but it's the one I like best.
Joshua: Another great series of your trip in Italy. I also like the diorama capture, the lens and your PP do make them life-like.
Wilhelm: Nice picture of the rock structure. And you captured the joyous moment of your son.
Ronny: Excellent macro shot as usual.
Here is another round with the A7s + ZM 15. I love this combo. It would be my only go-to set-up if the ZM can play nice with Sony sensor.
Another trip to the Sandia Peak in Albuquerque. I missed the darn sunset, so I had to settle with just the blue hour shot. They closed too early for a more dramatic astro shot.

Thank you so much! I am truly impressed with your images. The ZM 15 performs really well; I understand why you love that combo.
Some of my first shots with A7r + Zhongyi (Mitakon) Speedmaster 50/0.95 @ f/0.95 It´s a great lens surprisingly sharp wide open. Mine is first version with 58mm filter thread and clickless aperture ring..
