Another shot from last weekend. A7R3 + FE 24-105mm
I'm having a hard time figuring about how sharp or noisy my images are because of the Retina display vs regular monitors. Please let me know if this image it's ok, or over/under sharpened. Thanks.
After wrapping up a morning of exploring my local state park, I was driving around when I noticed this irresistible combination of snow covered trees and late fall color.
Finding a balanced composition was tricky especially as the light was quickly becoming harsh. I finally settled on this framing to show the weaving pattern of the trees. This turned out to be my favorite image of that morning.
Although being out in the cold can sometimes be a distraction when trying to explore and being mindful of nature, I look back and take comfort that I stopped and recorded this.

Hi Jose, might be just a tad over sharpened for me personally, at least on my monitor it appears to be. in terms of the noise, hard to say with that image, there is so much detail.
I spend quite a bit of time hiking in that area and I'm familiar with the villages of Serra do Açor and Estrela. Foz de Egua is such a cool spot, I always go there a couple of times every year usually in the Springtime when it's less busy. I really like the images with the fog, really adds a sense of mystery to the photos.

On my classical, boring 1920*1200 IPS display, it looks fine. Slightly oversharpened maybe, but it's easy to have a slightly too crunchy look on this kind of landscape when exported in low resolution.
