Trying out a new lens, the Nisi 15mm F4. All manual, but was looking for something wider that isn't huge and take filters. I'm still getting used to manual focus, but I'm thinking the lens is a keeper.
Edit: Actually decided not to keep it. There are some flare issues and I also got my hands on a used Helier 15mm that I like better.
There was I time that I rarely used a 24mm for portrait shoots. With the GM 24mm f1.4, I now use it all the time to create a more intimate perspective, while the f1.4 provides just enough separation for my taste. This is a shot I took earlier, today.

Indeed, very cozy/intimate vibe to you image. A testament to the wonderful 24GM is that even I can take decent portraits with it, and I have an abject lack of skill shooting people. What a lovely lens…and nice portrait.
I loved this rural scene with birds lining the pivot line and filling the trees. If you look closely you can also see all the birds flying in the background. First is the whole scene and second is a crop. 24-70GM II.
