Beautiful. I'm planning on heading down on Thursday, but I can't get there that early. I'm sure it will be a zoo by then.
Thank you Tim. I would say about 60% of the trees at Tidal Basin are in full bloom today but even the same trees may have lots of flowers and also buds too. I am guessing the peak bloom will be either Wednesday or Thursday. It may rain on Thursday though. I will pm you regarding parking.
A few color ones from this morning.

Thank you Douglas. Sublime, simply sublime images.
A few from the Tidal basin in DC from last Friday. Many of the Cherry Blossoms weren't fully open yet, but there were some very pretty trees. A grey day with some rain unfortunately, but it kept the crowds down. The trees should be peak this weekend and I may go back (along with everyone else near DC!).
All taken with an A7riv and the Tamron 20-40 f/2.8

I am impressed with your dedication in getting to the Tidal Basin at sunrise given how cold its been here in the morning! But you got the light for those beautiful shots.

You got some nice shots too Will! I went back this afternoon, took me 90 minutes to find a place to park (in front of the National Art gallery, had to walk 1.5 miles to the lake, too cloudy and crowded, I didn't get one single picture that I like. I think Tidal Basin is really more suitable for early morning in terms of traffic, crowds and light. The water is usually calmer in early morning too.
A few more from yesterday morning. I am done with Washington DC cherry blossoms this year.

Echoing others, Doug, those images and the ones you posted previously are just gorgeous!
Starting with the photos from our time on the Orient Express. These are the suites on board. We didn't stay in one of these because they are eye-watering expensive ($20k for one night) but the staff didn't mind showing them to us
