On the shot below you can see me during one of the craziest experiences in my life - shaving my head at LOCAL barber shop at Varanasi. Swimming in river Ganga (which I have done as well) is nothing in comparison. One is considered lucky if gets Hepatitis only from the shaving tools of local barber, not to mention another few thousands of unpleasant viruses and bacterias...
But at least now I know for sure that:
1. I was extremely lucky;
2. Logistically it is less risky to shave the head and than devote a week for medication on the burial fires and burnt corpses at Manikarnika Ghat to understand that dearth is inevitable than to do it the opposite way.

Looking out past my backyard, across the retention ponds, across the farmers cornfield at homes, Post Office and Trees in Autumn Color. Heavy Equipment has been run through the retention ponds which can be seen and the damage can be seen and the Cattails have been removed again.

Looking out my Kitchen sliding door, across my backyard, retention ponds, farmers corn field at the trees in autumn color homes and Post Office.
Lately I have been using Leica adapted glass for the size and weight. The resolution you got outperforms, in my opinion largely, the results with Cron 50 IV e.g. But the 925g of the 28 are something too.
About the 28, I was thinking of getting a Elmarit asph 11606 (180g) since it is smaller than the Elmarit III (250g) I got some weeks ago... pitifully, I did not got positive feedback in terms of performance. In my opinion the resolution you got with your 28 is far better than the one I would have got with mine! maybe the Voig 28 will get also much better resolution than what I have... The colors of the leica are beautiful though and vigneting aceptable for its size.

They all seem to handle the higher resolution sensor pretty well, granted these were stopped down pretty far.
Went paragliding last week but was lazy. Sat by the fire on launch with my camera drinking coffee and saying hello to the barn cat... decided to just hang out, but made some images of my friends and other pilots who were there.
I bought the Laowa 90/2.8 Macro lens and the Miops splash at the end of the summer figuring it would be a fun project to play with water droplet photography during the cold of winter. Well, today it was below zero for much of the day and only reaching single digits for the high.
What better day than to take my first foray into this art.
Made a quick trip to Washington DC last night to shoot some Christmas lights with the new to me Meyer Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm f2.8. I know the soap bubbles aren't everyone's cup of tea but I want to have some fun with it. I also brought the CV 15, 21 and 35 with me but didn't use the 21 at all. The U.S. Capitol is under renovation so I am not posting shots in which the tarps are visible, sometimes fuzzy politics are good politics. The other Christmas tree is the "National Christmas Tree" near the White House .
The shots which EXIF do not include the lens were taken with the Meyer Optik Gorlitz Trioplan, it has no electronic contact with the camera.
