Thanks! It's an odd one to use but the results mostly seem worth it! I've actually been using it for work purposes because of how small it is.
The weirdest thing about it so far is that at f/2.8 it doesn't seem to focus at infinity, but when I close it to f/11 it does focus at infinity. Never seen that in a lens. It's like at f/2.8 the closest it wants to focus is about 40 feet.
Very nice comparison Tim, of very very premium glass! Not so small though! I am surprised by the different color nuances that all these lenses produce! Also how good resolution all of them achieve!

The Sigma 40mm is large and heavy, not a lens I would carry with me unless I was really expecting to use it. The 28mm isn't so bad, but I understand many wouldn't want to carry it either. Holds resolution to the edges and corners better than my Pentax with similarly nice colors. If I wanted to go light and small I'd take my Pentax.
They all seem to handle the higher resolution sensor pretty well, granted these were stopped down pretty far.

Today the humble survant of our holy forum @IslandMed (me))) has his birthday.
Traditionally one should share some pathetic thoughts or experiences.
On the shot below you can see me during one of the craziest experiences in my life - shaving my head at LOCAL barber shop at Varanasi. Swimming in river Ganga (which I have done as well) is nothing in comparison. One is considered lucky if gets Hepatitis only from the shaving tools of local barber, not to mention another few thousands of unpleasant viruses and bacterias...
But at least now I know for sure that:
1. I was extremely lucky;
2. Logistically it is less risky to shave the head and than devote a week for medication on the burial fires and burnt corpses at Manikarnika Ghat to understand that dearth is inevitable than to do it the opposite way.
