Coincidentally, my wife and I watched the Norwegian movie, "Troll," last night on Netflix. It was surprisingly good and very entertaining. It made us want to visit Norway, with all the scenic landscapes. My wife's background is 1/2 Norwegian, so she has a special fondness for Norway, and Scandinavia. I love the rugged beauty of Norway and Sweden.

I purchased an app called Shutter (iPhone) which among other things allows for automating image capture for focus stacking. It works with the A1 so I gave it a test with the 12-24/2.8 GM. Seems to work pretty well. This image is a composite of 14 captures. It connects to the camera via direct Sony A1 WiFi (no cables) and also does stills, timelapse, HDR. The phone (and presumably tablet) can make many adjustments and focus to the camera although for focus stacking, MF is needed. I had never heard of this app before.
Image were processed in PS and LRC.

I wouldn't call it a 'good reason' but I had forgotten to change my ISO back to Auto. I used ISO 800 for some shots the day before. Sometimes a mind is a terrible thing . . .
