Some leftovers from the weekend trip with the photo club to the small island Sula outside Trondheim. About 70 people live there year around. Most used to make a living from fishing but many are struggling now.

Yesterday, 25.10.2022; there was a partial eclipse of the sun to be seen in much of Europe. There was also some cloud, which for me was perfect for what I had in mind.
Taken with the Sony A7c and Tamron 70/300mm lens. ISO 1600 1/500 sec @ F 6.3 and an ND1000 filter. Edited in LR 5 and cropped in an old version of Photoshop (PS2 because it was free at the time I downloaded it).
Thank you K-H! I enjoy your bird pictures, so sharp! That 200-600 is really a great lens and Sony priced it too low in my opinion.

We didn't get to see that in north America this time. The next full solar eclipse that can be seen in parts of U.S. will be in 2024 and I read that hotels in the visible "belt" are pretty much sold out for that day already! I will wait until I know which area will have clear weather a few days before I decide where to go. I saw the full solar eclipse several years ago, it was a surreal experience.

These photo outing usually happen when my significant other is at the hotel and I'm out for a couple of hours
Looking out past my backyard, across the retention ponds, across the farmers cornfield at homes, Post Office and Trees in Autumn Color. Heavy Equipment has been run through the retention ponds which can be seen and the damage can be seen and the Cattails have been removed again.
This consists of 3 images taken using left and right shift which were flat stitched in Photoshop, using Tripod Mounted A7rIII and Laowa 20mm f4 Shift lens in Canon FE mount; the final image was cropped on the left and right due to the angle being so wide that the image picked up the sides of the door frame so instead of 11mm of shift to the left and right, the shift was closer to 6mm to the left and the right; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f8, for 3 1/250 Second Exposures.
Exoposure was Corrected +0.18, 0.35, and 0.35 Stops for the 3 images.

Looking out my Kitchen sliding door, across my backyard, retention ponds, farmers corn field at the trees in autumn color homes and Post Office.
The fall colors in our region have been very vibrant this season, I could tell that from the maple trees in our neighborhood, unbelievably red/orange. West Virginia claimed this was the best color in 10 years in their state, I don't know but my two recent trips there didn't raise any doubt.
Some shots from early morning and late afternoon at a local lake today. It was a bit foggy in the morning. Composition was limited by my vision and the lack of interesting foreground subjects. Basically I was shooting from the other side of the lake.
