FE 55. I got lucky here, ISO 4000 for 1/60s - at f4 for hair 'curtain' and body in focus, plus mid-aperture bokeh/context. I never direct subjects, you lose their physical essence/posture and IMO it usually looks staged with no equal 'two way flow' between me and them. I want that fresh expression of their natural state, whether thoughtful, sad, happy, inquisitive - not the 'being photographed' look people put on in front of a camera. That mystery is a big part of spontaneous people photography for me. Average time at eye level is 2-4 seconds, feels like hours.
Sparky injured his eye and was in a lot of pain. After some medication from the vet, he fell asleep on the den floor almost immediately. Good time to see what a new lens can do. 24-70/2.8 GM II.
