No, I own a few polarizers in various diameters but I am now more comfortable with achieving the look in Lightroom.
I don't deserve much credit here. I live in a beautiful place and own some of the best equipment made, but thanks for your comments.

I bought & returned one of these lenses because when I tested it, it was less sharp than my Canon 24-105; but, I see so many images from it that have this difficult to describe 'pop'. I wonder if I should save up & try again...

that lens is def. better than its reputation. Sometimes we are over critical with lens quality etc.
The Haus shot is taken at 70 mm according to some testers the weakest spot of the lens. I have certainly better lenses but i am quite pleased with it not to speak of its convenience.

PS: I own the 24-105 L as well. I tested it with the 7R and i liked it better than on the 5DMKII (i never liked it to much on the Canon) But for a walk around lens the 24/105 is to big and AF is very slow - i prefer the 24/70Werner,
So many confusing and conflicting messages on the internet regarding this lens. I expect there is more sample variance than expected. Your shots consistently gets my attention and your 70mm shot is what I would expect from a Zeiss 24-70. How do you rate your 24-70 on the wide end?

On the wide end 24 corners are not very good but still for most (not all) situations acceptable. For me its a good lens for convenient shooting. Would take my 24 TSE II for critical stuff.
No lens without compromise and oc differed people have different needs.
Sometimes you have just to take pics instead of reeding in the net...

I'm not expecting perfection at this price - so your report is about what I would expect. . . but I would say that your 24mm pic of Kultur Brauerei Heidelberg at f/13 hits some critical requirements! At least with a good tripod and static subject. I think however, I will wait and see what Zeiss will offer at Photokina.

That is my initial conclusion as well (bracket and use PS) - not to mention that CP and UWA is not always a good match. Thanks for sharing!
