Beautiful shots of the butterflies, Birdie. I went to a nearby garden this morning, hoping to shoot some butterflies, I only saw a few. Several years ago I routinely saw several hundred at this garden. I read that monarch butterflies are now placed on the endangered species list.
Sunflowers are out!!! And my gardens are in full bloom I have not shot too many hummingbirds, but decided it's time to try.. the two females spent more time chasing each other than in the flowers.. I will persevere lolol
While camping yesterday we came across a field of sunflowers near a lake. Definitely not professional! But the 35GM wide open always looks good to me. (cross posted in the 35GM images thread).
Looking at 3 Nestlings (1 is behind witth beak closed) in the nest begging a parent in breeding plumage at the right for food.
