Thank you Birdied! If you are interested in airshows at all, Barksdale AFB has great shows in some years, and Florida always has tons of great shows as well.

Some more from Sunday's outing, the last two shots are extremely rare to see, with all the airshows I have been to, this is the first time I saw two stealth fighter jets doing the opposing pass. The stealth jet demo teams usually only send one jet up. I doubt if I will be able to see this again, not for a long time anyway. So even though these two shots are less than sharp, they have sentimental value to me.
Went to Kings Park yesterday with the 20G I just repurchased. I'm trying to concentrate more on landscapes and composition as I feel like I'm horrible at using anything wider than 35mm. From these pictures it's obvious I still struggle to manage composition and distortion, but I'm working on it.
Looking through the trees, across the Lehigh County Zoo, across the rest of the preserve, and into the distance.

At the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
I love the colors here especially in Spring and Fall -- higher latitudes, similar to Helena's terrific shots of Sweden and Norway for the lighting and coastal influences. Overcast skies often seem like a plus, rather than a negative.
Had a lovely conversation with this lady today near Euston station. 90 years old and still smoking!! Anyway she was telling how she was evacuated in 1939 and didn't see her mother for nearly 6 years. 'Put away' was the phrase she used which really struck me . Anyway I didn't tell her of my Republican sentiments and wished her a lovely jubilee

At the Capitoline Museums, Roma (Rome) Italy.
The best (for me) travel kit (A7 + Zony 35 2.8 - so light and compact that I do not mind to carry it with me nearly always) helped me to take this shot of the most spectacular (for me) metro in the world.
The chicks are growing like mad! The oldest is developing plumage, and the youngest is stretching his "wings" as the oldest was last week. I watched the parents feeding the youngest..the older two look like they are digging in on their own The parents are non stop hunting..lots of mouths to feed!!! This is a VERY tight crop.. my distance to the nest has increased with the new location..but no leaves to block my view
