We were in Galveston last week for FeatherFest. When we signed up for the raptor guided tour, I was expecting something other than what we got. My mistake. However, we did get to see a few birds we don't normally get to see. Here are a few. Sorry about the banding and tethers.

At Lock Ridge Park (the site of an old Iron Furnace works), Alburtis, PA.
I hardly ever shoot birds other than those at my feeders, but this eagle's nest is fun and they are such awesome birds. It was raining and misty, and I have to park a good distance away, but both parents were in the nest today when I went by
