I don't usually like to take my gear out in rainy weather, but I enjoy the sogginess of rain actually coming down in the town. No damage to the camera or lens that I can detect, but I'm never taking my top gear out to play in the rain!

Nice shot, Richard! You've shown enough examples of this CV 28/2 that I am impressed with its image quality. I wish CV would update with electrical contacts, E-mount and exif/lens data to be able to get the lens info and best image stabilization. It seems to be the best 28mm MF available at this time for IQ.
Last week, my wife and I went hiking in Utah parks (national and state). It's our first trip since I entered retirement a couple of weeks ago. Prior to this trip, I had only been to one national park (Yosemite) on one occasion. Needless to say, I have a lot of making up to do. This was a good introduction. This trip was done through Backroads and they do an awesome job to make all arrangements, lodging, food, trails, etc. As such, this isn't really a photography trip as our activities were only during daytime ours. Nonetheless, I think I took over 800 images during the five days of hiking. A large majority of these images were taken with the Sony A1 and the 24-105/4 G.
