My Canon FDn 135/2 arrived last friday,so I had a chance to try it out over the weekend.Excellent lens it is.Very sharp,good colours,nice oof blurr.Very close to my favourite Canon EF lens - the 135/2L.The only aspect in which the EF L excells is the level of CA/contrast wo and all that can be easily managed in PP.
I got some questions so here's an image with the A7 and Contax 35-70. It's taken with a Nex 5N with equivalent focal length 27mm so it is a bit unjustfully big-looking (compare bamboo net width at lens tip and behind). To the left its sibling Contax 28-85 with optional metal hood, and to the right Contax 35/1.4 (both without adapter). The 35/1.4 i thicker and with adapter bigger than the 35-70. The 28-85 is bigger all over.

Love your Contax decal on the A7. What body did you take that from?
Got myself a second C/Y 35-70 more or less by accident recently. Somone had listed it as "Objektiv" (full description) for 150 EUR buy-it-now. So now I have a Leitaxed 35-70 for my 5d II and a vanilla one for use on the A7.

Oh I manufactured it myself. I dont dislike Sony I just like Contax better :-)

Wilhelm...great shots with the 35-70. Old cars and rust go fantastic together!! Trying no to take anti pics before we leave on Tuesday for Hawaii. Decided I'm bringing the CY 35-70 with, and I'll just have to deal with the reflection issue as best I can. I can't begin to think of leaving it...I have a screw on retractable hood that I will use too!
