This is a frame out of many of a female hooded merganser that fought hard to keep the crayfish she caught from being stolen by a lazy male merganser. The male merganser tried to snatch her crayfish from underneath but she was a feisty fighter and didn’t give up easily. A lot of scuffles took place underwater but at the end, she emerged as a winner and swallowed the crayfish right away before the male could do anything else…

Along Jordan Creek, not far from the Pedestrian Bridge and Ford, Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
Finally it is allowed to take photos inside the Trondheim cathedral (Nidarosdomen). However, we were there at a concert, so the church was full of people. Maybe I'll go there again some regular weekday and try and take more interesting photos.
