Thank you. As usual, things didn't go quite as planned. I really didn't have that much say in where we went or what we saw. And everyone was always waiting for my especially since I didn't have any AF lenses with me. So, it took me time to manual focus at maximum magnification and recompose. After awhile I stopped carrying a tripod and shot everything hand held with IBIS. I started carrying the 2 cameras and 4 lenses in the 2 Kinesis Gear Pouches and stopped using the Mindshift Gear Backlight 26L photo Backpack as often as possible. Also, didn't do much in changing lenses and relied on using my A1 with my Voigtlander 50mm f2 Apo-Lanthar Asph lens. I was extremely pleased with my A1 with the Voigtlander 50mm lens combination. The A1 is easily my favorite Sony Body with its EVF. I was stunned with the sharpness and clarity relying on IBIS at ISO 1600. I only took the time to use the Voigtlander 90mm f2.8 Apo-Skopar to take some closer photos of the David in the Academy in Firenze (Florence) and didn't use the Minolta 40mm f2 M-Rokkor or the Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo-Telyt lenses at all. Mainly just kept the Voigtlander 50mm on the A1 and to a lesser extent the Voitlander 28mm f2 Ultron II on the A7rII Kolari Vision UT sensor modified camera.

Goes to show that the 'live and learn' mantra is for all ages haha. I'm hoping you still got to have a great time and enjoyed what the country had to offer. I'm very curious about your images, especially from some of the less trodden places.
I'm particularly interested in some of the images that came from the 90/2.8 since that's still relatively new to most folks. I feel like it's a lens that would capture that special Italian light very well.

Looking north at new Alaskan Way along the waterfront, after demolishing the old overpass, making the street wider. Still, a lot of work going on between this thoroughfare and the steep areas near Pike Place Market. CV 40E.
