From walks near home. The small town I live in is located on a plateau (about 10km outside of Trondheim) and from there I can choose various small roads leading through farm landscapes down to the river delta and fjord.
Cyprus is one of the richiest countries in the world in terms of religion monuments. St Lazarus Ortodox church is as important for Christians as St Peter in Rome or St Marco in Venice. Hala Sultan Tekke (Mosque of Umm Harram) is considered by many as the fourth most important religious place fo Muslims.
But I personally love to be in the small Ortodox churches built between XII and XIV centuries in the mountains. All those churches are UNESCO World Heritage sites, but they are well off the beaten tourist tracks.
To pray or meditate alone in trully Holy Place is unique and priceless experience.
Here is a different perspective of the ceiling at Bellagio’’s reception and a crop of the same image. In addition to the artwork, I am impressed with the IQ the small Sony 20mm f/1.8 delivers.
