There are piranhas there but too bad, the heron didn't catch any while we were there... FYI, there is water right under the floating water plants that covered almost the entire part of the lake.

Thank you very much, Birdie! No, but somebody "rocked the boat" at a critical moment, and that's when the heron dove its head into the water to catch that fish . I ended up clipping a part of the heron... Oh, well .

Awesome shots, Birdied!
Some infrared pictures of the famed cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin in Washington DC this afternoon. The cherry blossoms reached their peak bloom today. It was nice to dig out the IR camera to play with it a bit.
