Took the Canon 17-40 out for a spin today. The sharpness isn't the best at f/4 (and CA is all over the place), but drastically improves by f/6.3 or f/7.1. I can see myself taking it out a lot though; the size, weight and zoom-range make it a nice walkaround lens (given my preferred focal range of 40 anyway).

We have seen plenty of images in Vegas taken in the evening or late afternoon. For a change, I took a few street sceneries at crack of dawn; that was around at 5:00AM. Only taxis were there but not a single soul on the street. FYI, the image was from a few years back using a Sigma 20mm f/1.4…

I have never really done any video before . I was curious about S&Q mode, so gave it a try on the honey bees.
