A few shots from tonight's walk with my dog, Xiao Fei Dao (Small Flying Knife - we didn't name her) !
My wife has just returned from a trip to visit our children in the UK/Belgium so it was a chance for me to stop the sale of my Cosina 55/1.2 in London and have her bring it back ! The PK mount not an issue with the A7 of course.
This lens does amazing things to specular highlights though it was really too dark even for a f1.2 lens, still I was eager to try, so these are the results. Looking forward to using it in better (well some) light ! Even in near dark the magnifying made focus relatively easy.
All shot at f1.2 (bar one - don't remember which one now - at f2, when I knocked the aperture ring )
The dog was literally virtually invisible in the dark before bringing up the exposure in post processing.

In the coming weeks I plan to challenge myself by setting some more or less random rules to my photography. Today I started by just using one lens and shooting everything at f/16 (which resulted in much sharper images than I had feared). Next time I will come up with something more creative

Beautiful image. Looks like I need to try out the same lens. I see you're from Malaga. One of my favorite places I've ever been. Loved Malaga/Torremolinos, Spain and Vina Del Mar, Chile when I visited while in the Navy 20 some years ago.
Thanks, Malaga is a very good place to live, the weather is great all year.
Few more images with the A7s. So far the lenses play very differently with the A7s, in how they feel. I think there will be an improvement with M lenses regarding smearing, but this will need to be tested further.
Also the PP is quite different too. For now all shots are without any NR. I am really enjoying this camera and it is very complimentary with the A7r
First shot with the 50 Cron Rigid DR 32000 ISO and f/2.0
Second 50 Cron Rigid DR f/2.8
Third 50 Lux Asph f/1.4
Just got home to the Metabones IV adapter. I like that unlike the three i had for a couple of days last week this one actually bring caps for both sides and has the hex key as well as tripod foot in organized compartments.
Thank you Charles for posting early test shots with A7s + Leica glass.
At first I thought it was a typo, but then you're right, Sony has just entered FF interchangeable lenses mirrorless game and with a new mount and constantly improving sensors and processing chips (remember folks, A7/R are nine months old camera babies!) this is just a (great) beginning.
Shots this afternoon at Currumbin Beach with A7s and 35 Lux FLE via the Novoflex adapter.
The 35 Lux FLE appears to have no issues on the A7s, even wide open!
Hi all. First post here, been lurking for while. Using Canon FF with few Zeiss lenses, but as aging is catching up with me, the desire to carry some heavy gear has been strongly diminished. Still keep the Canon, but got A7r with FE 55 for walk around combo. Here is couple from last few days. Thank you for viewing and for great images, which I could enjoy in this thread.
