Thank you Barry for the tack sharp and very detailed images, I assume of a location in Cornwall.
The first thought coming to my mind, when seeing your images, was Norman Rockwell.
Especially the second image seemed like a vignette of everyday life at your side of the pond in a very picturesque setting.
To me it looks like a painting in the very particular and identifiable style associated with N.R.

Yes, location is indeed Cornwall, this fishing harbour is more commonly known as Mevagissey in English but in Cornish it is called Lannvorek.
You had me looking up N.R. and his paintings...thanks for that :-)

The old man didn't notice me as I was approaching the small crossroad and he came right at me while I was passing through.The speed was about 100 mph then and all I managed was not to hit him right in the driver's seat. However, as a result of that my car turned and rolled over several times before it landed in the field. Grandpa survived without a scratch, but I ended up with three limb fractures, hematomas and a concussion. My car is completely wrecked but saved my life. I am slowly coming back to myself now.
