In order to create the gif animations I am currently using a computational service with buggy software.
Reminds me of my experience with remote "Supercomputing" in the mid 1970s.
I would appreciate if someone would point out an app that I could install on my Apple Silicon M11 Mac mini and compute the gifs locally.

Tough year for leaves around here in PA, at least places I go. It's been warm enough that the trees are holding their leaves, and those that turn are somewhat dull and drop quickly. Some random shots from the past few days.
IIRC the fire was started by a spark from a power line, saying in the wind, in this neck of the woods. In total it burned more than 150,000 acres. Today that area constitutes a gigantic fire break for Los Alamos.

I have to admit I am fascinated by the rendering of the Loxia 50. Granted, I am using it like a wide angle lens with the panos. But it certainly has a certain look to it.
