Thank you very much, K-H.! That particular sequence has only 5 good frames, probably too short for GIF. I believe I have other sequences, that I can play around with, some even from Ecuador. I will give it a try. Thanks again!

Thanks Joshua. I am looking forward to your gif clips.
I am a total novice to gifs and have been using:

https://www.freeconvert.com/jpg-to-gif

I have not tried anything else.
They let you make gifs of up to 16 frames per gif free of charge.
For up to 40, 60, or max 100 frames per gif animation they charge different monthly rates.
I signed up for 60, but can cancel anytime.

I have been fooling around a bit, trying to get a feel for what works.
Yesterday was a bit windy and we had some real downpour.
Here in mountains of the "Land of Enchantment" rain is always welcome!

I shot the following image with:

Sony ILCE-1 + FE 400mm F2.8 GM OSS + 1.4X TC @ 560 mm, f/4, 1/2,000 s, ISO 5000,
shown at half resolution of 4320 x 2880.

At that half resolution a gif animation of 45 frames is 350.15 MB.
At a resolution of 1,500x1,000 a gif animation of 45 frames is 44.12 MB, shown below.

I chose no delay between frames in the gif animation.

K-H.

Thank you Karl - Heinz - and an interesting question.
It is described as Norman/Romanesque and Early English/Gothic, but there have been other influences after that. In his book 'Englands 1000 best Churches' Simon Jenkins says 'Despite its English additions, Boxgrove's exterior looks unmistakenly French. Add to this it was actually founded from Normandy.

I was chatting to this (I think semi retired) Cleric who had arrived to perform a 'Low Mass' without his key to the inner door! So we were waiting for it to arrive and I dashed in before the Mass with my camera. R4 with

Thank you indeed avalon27 so much for the explanations and the picture of the Cleric in front of his church. Pretty funny.
I guess that was your lucky day shooting inside without anybody present.
I believe in "Better lucky than Smart". That works for me just fine!
R4 with Batis 25mm is a winning combination. I like that lens as well.

BTW I grew up near Corvey after WW II.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princely_Abbey_of_Corvey
The Abbey church of Corvey dates back to 844.

A nearby railroad bridge was bombed in that war.
The blast wave damaged the church tower a bit, but it stayed up.
However, they can't anymore swing the bells.
Instead they use a hammer to ring them.

Thanks again, Karl-Heinz

Finally back home after extended hurricane evacuation. Very happy but surprised to find my little hummers survived the
145 MPH winds with gusts to 165MPH that sat over our area for over 4 hours when the storm stalled. Amazing how they made it .

Thank you Birdie. Beautiful shot of the hummer. How do you know that WAS your hummer? My resident hummers have gone south but I am still seeing one or two once in a while feeding on my feeders. I think these are the migrating hummers making a stop to refuel on their way south. The last time I photograph hummers was about 10 days ago.

A few shots from the foggy morning today.

We still have 1-2 female hummers visit the feeder in the early morning when it's cold. We haven't had a frost yet, but speculate they will be gone at first frost.
