* the view after clearing snowstorms at the Baralacha La, often the last motorable pass in the Indian Himalaya to open each season. ~APO lenses hold pure colour high into the tonal range.
The full suggestiveness of this rock shape at Ruby Beach, WA didn't really hit me until I looked at the pictures later. Initially I just liked the slightly contrasting colors of the beach rocks placed there. I looked a bit online (a treacherous search, lol) to see if anyone else commented on this formation, but didn't find anything.
A7R2, first with the Leica Elmarit-R 60/2.8, second with the Voigtlander 21/3.5 FE Color-Skopar.
Ruby Beach is known for the reddish ruby like crystals in the sand there. Maybe you weren’t there at the right time of the month to see them? Think it has something to do with the moon, tides and and a recurring cycle….
