My Sony A7R still goes strong which I purchased in 2014. I have since only used it with third party lenses and never vested into FE lenses. The majority of photos with the A7R are taken with manual focus rangefinder or SLR lenses. Here a few captures taken this past weekend at a antique car show with the quite rare Tanaka Tele-Tanar 135/3.5 LTM lens which I shot at f/3.5. Fantastic lens which I purchased for $40 at a local camera store. Adapted to the Sony A7R with Fotasy L39/NEX adapter. The posted photos are original JPG files directly from the camera.
I took Sony ILCE-1 + FE 20mm F1.8 G (SEL20F18G) and shot the following image @ f/11.
Post-processing was done with the latest version 14.3.1.10 of Capture One 21 that I downloaded today.
Zooming in on the yellow flowers I can make out numerous Black Dots artifacts.
So this seems to be the 4th A1 showing the Black Dots artifacts in yellow flowers, first uncovered by j4nu, when the raw files are post-processed with Capture One 21, version 14.3.1.10 in this case.
In one of my favourite Himalayan villages, the people are still so generous they invite you into their humble abodes and offer you tea and food. In fact the senior monks at the 11th century monastery do the same. #1 here is the semi-covered courtyard with hanging robes and a cooking fire. #2 using the (1993!) CY 21mm I'm often reminded that Carl Zeiss believed it to be APO from f4 or so. I notice all the time the same colour purity my other, more modern APOs have - and the 100% view of the woven threads on the focal plane here look just great.
