I am probably the last epigone buying the Zeiss Sonnar 35/2.8 ZA lens right now. Yesterday however I took it on a trip for the first time.Nice little lens.
It was a quiet sunny morning in the market square of a medieval town with a fountain in every corner.
#1 The Parkachik urban centre is small. In fact, you are looking at it. I can just about taste the rice, dal, chapati and omlate from here - the Indians make great backcountry food. #2 When you take a seat to eat your selection, this is the view.
Looking at Dark Hollow Falls. A storm had dumped 16 inches of rain on the Park weeks before and the water was abnormally high. But, without the leaves of spring the image did not have the softer and more diffuse light.
Tripod mounted A7r and Leica M WATE set to 18mm.

At Dark Hollow Falls, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.
Some images from a 10-mile alpine hike with the Tamron 28-200.
I like it's output for nature photographs, much more so than the Sony 24-105. I think that may be because the Sony's color output is more blue-ish than the Tamron, and the Tamron seems to have more micro-contrast, especially in the greens and yellows.
