This peregrine falcon chick ran and hopped towards me… It couldn’t fly yet that day. I moved backwards and moved backwards some more to keep the bird within composition while I kept on shooting. Somehow, it reminded me of the scene in the Jurassic Park movie, where the T-Rex was running after some folks . It ended up walking on the ledge parallel to the cliff in search of a higher point.
I have so many photos of places that cannot be recognised in the present day. Here is Shigatse, the capital of Tsang in Tibet. All photography eventually becomes nostalgia. Keep shooting!

I wasn't going to photograph the solar eclipse this morning because of the poor weather forecasted. When I got up this morning it was partly cloudy. I rushed to dig out my solar filter and drove to a farm nearby where I could get a good view of the sunrise. Luckily there were breaks between the clouds for me to snap a few shots when the sun peeked through. It didn't last long, may 15 to 20 minutes. No need to use the solar filter as the sun wasn't blindingly bright that time
