Fantastic macro Ronny... as usual... especially for the combination and contrast of colors. Do you think I could have some chance to get macro shot with my new Canon FDn 100mm NOT macro and some extension tubes? Thanks in advance.
Manuel
I am still getting familiar with my new 90mm Leica Elmarit-R on the A7r. I find the focus magnifier is really essential at large apertures to be spot on. The extra effort pays off with noticeably sharper images than I get simply using focus peaking. I am really liking this lens. Now I need to learn how to compose and light portraits.

An alternative you might consider, Manuel, is to try one of the two-element Nikon 3T or 4T close up lenses, which being 52 mm, will fit this lens. My experience with them is that they are surprisingly high-class optics, and can provide a very cheap, convenient and light-weight route to good macro. They generally work better with longer focal length lenses so your 100 should suit them very well. They can induce some curvature, but for field use this is generally not problematic
Here's an example taken with one on my OM-D using a 45 mm lens.
A7S + OM 24/2.8. Just got this lens off FM B&S, haven't shot much at all with it, but first impressions are really nice - perhaps more favorable than OM 21/3.5, in terms of color, corners, maybe contrastier.
