I just love the sunburst that this lens is capable of producing...much like it's 2.8 sibling. Probably the best lenses in the Canon lineup for this effect.
Fantastic shots Jack, Jeremy, Dale, and Derek! Lurking at the moment while my A7 is at Sony in Texas getting the shutter button replaced! Damn soft release button, which I really liked, just caught my strap, and since it's glued to the actual shutter button, the strap pulled and broke the button and the stem!!
Jack...you've been saying your CV 50 ASPH is prob your fav 50, but you've been shooting the M50 ASPH a lot! Which do you prefer? The M looks astounding, especially the sharpness! I had heard that it doesn't fair we'll into the corners, but your pics to me seem otherwise. You did a few stopped down shots several pages back, and they looked great. And the comparison of the fishing nets(?) a while back, made the lenses(CV and M) look very similar!!
Derek...really like the 35 pre-ASPH shots. I love the glow!
Jeremy...congrats on the ZF 100...I, too, love my Pre-ZE/ZF 100 planar!! It just doesn't have macro!!
Dale...great images with the 16-35/4. How big is it? I didn't really like the 2.8 version, cause it never really sharpened up in the corners at all, but the f4 version looks much better!
Gregg
Thanks Gregg and hope you get your A7 back pronto - hoping Sony doesn't charge you too much (or did you mention they'd cover it for free? I know someone here somewhere mentioned something like that!)

Gregg, sorry to hear about your A7R mishap
I wanted to satisfy my curiosity about Lux-50 asph, but I was too cheap to rent one to compare it to C/V Nokton 50/1.5 ASPH. I ended up buying a brand new in silver (got a great deal from Fotopia store) but if I had a chance to go back I would stick to Nokton. Both lenses are very close in performance and Nokton is much lighter and easier to use, IMO. Mind you Lux-M 50 may be more universal as Nokton is more of a close-mid range lens only.
Here is a shot with Lux-M at f/4, (kinda accidental take) and I don`t think corners ruined anything.
There is always a way to take attention away from corners...
