Changed the format from vertical to horizontal for no particular reasons and it held up well, both the lens (at wide open aperture) and sensor . From last August’s session in downtown Los Angeles...
I was going to do more bird feeder shots when this guy landed in the trees in my yard. The camera was set to AF-C/Wide but with all the branches, it could not find the eye. No problem, C2 button and changed to Tracking: Spot - small. BE-AF is awesome.
During my Utah trip, we drove the scenic route along UT-12 from Capitol Reef towards Bryce Canyon. It was a beautiful drive taking you through a national forest, up a mountain, and down through the edge of the Escalante National Monument. I got lucky with the light and timing as we pulled over in time at this overlook during sunset.
Looking across Jordan Creek at the Autumn Color on the far bank and brilliant Autumn Color reflected in the water.
Tripod mounted A7r and Leica R 28mm f2.8 Elmarit V2 lens.
ISO 100, f11, 1/50 second.
Exposure Corrected -0.10 Stops.
