Like many here my photography has been severely curtailed during the past year - and as a few may have guessed I particularly like to shoot historic churches/buildings - so the ones I could get to at some times of the year were usually closed, so no interior shots. Again like many I hope for a better year.
Yesterday - a grey day - I got to St Mary the Virgin - Upleadon in Glos, 11thC origins, 12thC nave and north doorway, 16thC timber framed Tower- reasonably rare. Various restorations over the years.
Some roadside attractions after driving 3 hours each way to buy the a1. Found this place on the way home and had to pull in. No time to set up the camera except to make sure it was shooting raw.
Looking upstream along the roadway running along and across Jordan Creek from the snow covered shade to the late afternoon lit snow covered far shore of the Creek.
Tripod mounted (Gitzo 1257LVL tripod with Fotopro E-6H Gimbal head) A7r and Leica R 28mm f2.8 Elmarit V2 lens.

Along Jordan Creek not far from the Pedestrian Bridge and Ford, Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
A few more of the wonderfully unique Ghost Mantis (Phyllocrania paradoxa). He’s a fifth instar (L5). Shot at iso 640 on a Sony A7RIV, handheld with the Sony macro 90mm.
