here's some shots from this past weekend. Finally got around to using photopills for the moon shot. I used it for the sunrise as well, but the clouds appeared just before the shot and I already knew the sunrise wasn't going to be exactly where I wanted it. I'm also trying to determine when I put my A7iii up for sale here as I have the A1 coming. I hate to do it too early because #1) I like using it on weekends and #2) I still am not sure when the A1 will get delivered. Anyway, enjoy. These are shots of Mt Mansfield and Camel Hump (which unfortunately ended up not the focus of the shot as clouds surrounded it).
This image in from 2019, the last year when the owl population was high. It dropped significantly in 2020 and it remains to be seen whether it could make a come back this year... Here, the owl was about to land near the burrow but the vegetation around it was too dense. Although I was able to capture subsequent images but the owl was covered in a vegetation “fog”. If you see a part of the wing to the right shows that issue. But for the most part the owl, especially the face, is still quite clear.

Along Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, Apopka, FL.
I'm now much more familiar with the park across the road from home - Pounds Park was created in the 1920's from an old estate and farmland as part of a wider 'green lung' of parkland (known as Central Park ...) to enable the newly joined three towns (incorporated as the city of Plymouth in 1928) avoid the overcrowding of the past. The last shot shows a stone marking a boundary point between Plymouth and Devonport prior to unification.
Hadn't envisaged walking around using the 14-24 hand held but it is very good...
