I know what you mean! I haven't been using many UWA focal lengths for a while, and it is quite challenging finding appropriate subjects. I find I am shooting mostly in the 24-40mm range, and most of that in 24-28mm range. I wanted to see if the CV15 would be a smaller, more affordable choice over a UWA zoom. I would like a nice UWA prime of at least 18mm, to maybe replace my ZE18. I may eventually go with the Batis 18, despite its bulky size.

Well, temperature-wise the winter here in Southern California is indeed warmer than in your neck of the wood, Douglas. But we deal with wildfires, yes, even in the winter as the air can be dry and it can be very windy. Thank you for your kind words for the image. The are 2-3 hummers that visit the Honeysuckle plant so far. But the most frequent visitor is the female Anna’s hummingbird.
