Helena, it's always a treat to view your pictures, especially the winter scenes which we don't have much in our region. You inspire me to go out and look for red barns in snow, and I did yesterday in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Of course, I wish I had your artistic eyes... All were shot with the Sigma 24-70, except the last one. I also had the CV 21 F1.4 and the Sony 16-35 GM with me, used the CV 21 quite a bit for other shots not posted here yet.
I wish there were some clouds in these shots but style="display:none;"> the sky was clear after the snow storm.
Thank you Douglas! What a beautiful set with the rural landscapes! You actually have more snow than us now, because ours turned into ice after just a couple of days. Today it's supposed to be about +8C!
Another beautiful set, Helena, and thank you. It was -8C this morning when I ventured out to take pictures of the same red barn (the first one) at sunrise. It didn't feel that cold without wind. A few more from Thursday.
Another image of the female Anna's hummingbird that visited my backyard this morning... Additional accessories used included a reflector to direct the sunlight and a 10mm extension tube for the lens to focus beyond the minimum focusing distance.
Looking at a Maple Tree in brilliant red Autumn color.
