Well there goes that idea. Thanks for the warning.

Excellent images on the last few pages! Been out of town for the last 3 days, and hope to post several shots tonight after work....BUT...
I installed a soft release button on my A7( don't remember which at the moment), and it worked fantastic! Until in picked my camera up at while at the lake yesterday, and the strap caught the soft shutter button, and pulled it right off!!! And I'm talking about it actually broke the shutter button below the original button, too.
Anyone deal with Sony repairs? I'm going to have to send it in...problem is, we leave for Hawaii in less than a month!!
Any help from members would be greatly appreciated!

Using a bad adapter, I completely dislodged one of the pins on my A7 body. I sent it in to Laredo and it returned completely fixed with a brand new LCD screen (it had a little scratch that didn't bother me) in about a week and a half. Didn't even ask them to replace the screen. All free of cost under warranty even though i bought camera from China on eBay. I was very impressed with not only the service, but the turnaround time.
A hand held HDR of tall a Salt Lake City building. The Lens is a Sigma Mini-wide 28mm F2.8. A bit on the cheaply built side, I like the rendering of this lens. It is said to be a macro, but lacks much of the focal capability of a true macro lens. What it offers is great clarity.

That sucks, Gregg. I haven't had to use them, but everything I've read about their service has been positive (well, from those who have a problem that can be fixed, I should say, and yours should be one of those problems). If you get stuck, though, I've got an NEX-7 I can loan you.
Philip...I have each of those lenses and its nice to see how they perform on the A7r. Now I know what I have to look forward to...my A7r body is supposed to arrive on Thursday.

Ah! Thank you very much for the info, that satisfies my curiosity. Also, I can find him again, perhaps. The guy has fantastic hair.

He does not have an A7r, I think. You'll have to see how a given 20mm lens performs on the "R".
